Terms & Conditions — Artigiano Casa s.r.l.

1. Parties & Definitions

"Artigiano Casa" means Artigiano Casa s.r.l., Via dei Servi 42, 50122 Firenze FI, Italia, P.IVA IT04823910481. "Customer" means any natural or legal person placing a commission. "Products" means furniture, restored pieces or other goods made or supplied by Artigiano Casa. These Terms apply to all orders unless otherwise agreed in writing.

2. Quotations & Order Confirmation

All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue. A binding contract is formed when the Customer confirms acceptance in writing (including email) and pays the required deposit. Amendments after confirmation must be agreed in writing and may affect the price and lead time.

3. Pricing & Payment

Prices are quoted in EUR, exclusive of Italian VAT (IVA, currently 22%) unless stated otherwise.
Italian VAT applies to purchases by Italian residents and by non-VAT-registered EU consumers. EU B2B customers with valid VAT numbers may apply the reverse charge mechanism.
Payment terms: 40% deposit on order confirmation; 60% balance before dispatch. Production does not begin until the deposit is received.
Payment by IBAN bank transfer or credit card. A 1.8% processing fee applies to credit card payments.
Invoices are due within 8 days of invoice date. Late payments accrue interest at 8% per annum above the ECB reference rate.

4. Bespoke & Custom Orders

All Artigiano Casa products are made to order. The Customer approves final design drawings before production begins. Once production starts, changes may not be possible and may incur additional charges for work already completed. Customers are responsible for ensuring all dimensions provided are accurate.

5. Lead Times & Delivery

Estimated lead times are provided at quotation stage and are given in good faith but are not guaranteed unless expressly confirmed in writing.
Standard delivery terms: EXW Florence (Incoterms® 2020). Risk transfers to the Customer upon handover to a carrier.
White-glove delivery and installation within Italy is available as an additional service.
Artigiano Casa is not liable for delays caused by carrier, customs clearance or events beyond our reasonable control.

6. Warranty

All products carry a lifetime structural warranty covering joint failure and structural defects caused by defects in our workmanship.
The warranty does not cover: surface wear, scratches, dents, fading, water damage, damage from misuse or modification, or damage caused by improper care.
Natural movement of solid wood (slight expansion, contraction, or colour change over time) is an inherent characteristic, not a defect.
To make a warranty claim, contact us with photographs. If the claim is valid, we will repair or replace the affected element at no charge.

7. Returns

As all products are custom-made to order, the right of withdrawal (recesso) under Italian Consumer Code (D.Lgs. 206/2005, Art. 59(c)) does not apply to bespoke commissioned goods. Cancellations before production begins will result in forfeiture of the deposit.

8. Limitation of Liability

Artigiano Casa's total liability shall not exceed the invoice value of the Products giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential or economic loss including loss of profit or revenue.

9. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by Italian law. Disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tribunale di Firenze. For international B2B disputes, the parties may agree to arbitration under the rules of the Camera Arbitrale di Milano.

10. Force Majeure

Neither party is liable for failure to perform due to events beyond their reasonable control including natural disasters, fire, pandemic, strikes or government action. The affected party must notify the other in writing promptly.
